OSARO Achieves SOC 2 Type II Compliance, Prioritizing Customer Data Security

AICPA SOC 2 Type II Compliance

Industry-first attestation demonstrates OSARO’s leadership in developing and maintaining secure robotics solutions for its industrial customers.

SAN FRANCISCO—April 30, 2024: OSARO has become the first robotics AI software company in the e-commerce fulfillment sector to achieve Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II compliance. This important data security standard, which was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), underscores OSARO’s unwavering commitment to protecting customer data and maintaining the most rigorous security policies and procedures in the industry.

An approved third-party AICPA auditing firm evaluated OSARO’s internal controls, policies, and procedures against two essential trust service criteria: security and confidentiality. The resulting report attested that OSARO achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance. The effort was coordinated by OSARO’s operations team in collaboration with Rhymetec, an independent provider of cybersecurity, compliance, and data-privacy solutions for SaaS-based businesses.

“At OSARO, we prioritize our customers’ success, which includes ensuring the absolute security and confidentiality of their data,” said Gemma Ross, OSARO’s VP of operations. “As the first in our industry to achieve SOC 2 Type II compliance, we demonstrate our leadership in providing secure, reliable robotic solutions. Beyond data protection, this certification reinforces our commitment to operational excellence, ensuring maximum uptime and service continuity for all our customers, worldwide.”
